Mecaer Aviation Group (MAG) is a leading international provider of solutions for aircraft landing systems, aircraft modifications and completions, MRO & Services in the helicopter, business aviation, and general aviation markets.

Mecaer America Inc. is currently looking for an Aerospace Painter to join its production team in Laval.

Key Responsibilities

Perform surface preparation including cleaning, sanding, masking, and chemical treatments
Apply primers, paints, and special coatings according to technical specifications
Operate spray guns and specialized painting equipment
Perform visual and instrumental inspections of painted surfaces
Interpret technical drawings, OEM standards, and aerospace technical manuals
Conduct routine maintenance of painting equipment
Safely handle and dispose of materials and waste in accordance with environmental regulations
Collaborate with quality, production, and maintenance departments

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience as a painter in the aerospace industry or a high-precision industrial environment
Knowledge of aerospace painting systems including primers, topcoats, and anti-corrosion coatings
Experience using professional painting equipment (HVLP, airless systems, pressurized booths)
Ability to read technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
Ability to work in a team environment and meet tight deadlines

Mecaer Aviation Group (MAG) est un fournisseur international de premier plan de solutions pour les systèmes de trains d’atterrissage, les modifications et aménagements d’aéronefs ainsi que les services MRO dans les secteurs des hélicoptères, de l’aviation d’affaires et de l’aviation générale.

Mecaer America Inc. est actuellement à la recherche d’un peintre aéronautique afin de joindre son équipe de production à Laval.

Principales responsabilités

Effectuer la préparation des surfaces : nettoyage, sablage, masquage et traitements chimiques
Appliquer les apprêts, peintures et revêtements spéciaux selon les spécifications techniques
Utiliser des pistolets à peinture et des équipements spécialisés
Effectuer des inspections visuelles et instrumentales des surfaces peintes
Lire et interpréter des dessins techniques, normes OEM et manuels techniques aéronautiques
Effectuer l’entretien de routine des équipements de peinture
Manipuler et éliminer les matériaux et déchets conformément aux normes environnementales
Collaborer avec les départements qualité, production et maintenance

Exigences

Minimum de 2 ans d’expérience comme peintre dans le secteur aéronautique ou dans un environnement industriel de haute précision
Connaissance des systèmes de peinture aéronautique : apprêts, couches de finition, revêtements anticorrosion, etc.
Expérience avec les équipements professionnels de peinture (HVLP, systèmes airless, cabines pressurisées)
Capacité à lire des dessins techniques
Grande minutie et souci du détail
Capacité à travailler en équipe et à respecter des échéanciers serrés
