Depuis plus de 25 ans, CDS, principal fabricant de systèmes post-extrusion en plastique en Amérique du Nord, est une entreprise familiale dynamique réputée pour son expertise et son efficacité dans la conception, la fabrication et l’entretien de lignes complètes de machines d’extrusion en aval. Elle sert une vaste gamme d’applications d’extrusion de polymères et de caoutchouc, offrant des solutions personnalisées pour répondre aux besoins de ses clients à l’échelle mondiale.

Votre rôle au sein de CDS :

Sous la supervision de l'achateur principal, vous serez responsible de soutenir les opérations d’approvisionnement en assurant le suivi des commandes et des “back orders” dans le système ERP, la coordination avec les fournisseurs pour le respect des délais, la gestion des écarts et la mise à jour des données. Participer au processus de commande et au réapprovisionnement des inventaires, répondre aux besoins internes et externes, et appuyer les activités de sourcing, d’analyse des stocks ainsi que diverses tâches administratives liées aux achats.

Responsabilités :

Assister l’acheteur principal dans les opérations quotidiennes;
Effectuer le suivi rigoureux des commandes en attente (“back orders”) et en assurer la mise à jour continue dans l’ERP;
Effectuer le suivi des commandes avec les fournisseurs afin que les commandes soient livrées dans les délais requis;
Résoudre des problèmes d'items manquants, de marchandises non reçues, de marchandises endommagées, etc.;
Effectuer la mise à jour des dates de livraison dans le système;
Placer des commandes dans le système et les envoyer par courriel ;
Commander les quantités minimum et maximum de la salle des inventaires ;
Répondre au besoin des gens internes et externes;
Assister l'acheteur principal dans le sourcing, la recherche et la collecte d’informations concernant de nouveaux produits et fournisseurs
Soutenir le spécialiste des inventaires dans l’analyse et le maintien des niveaux d’inventaire
Effectuer toutes autre tâche cléricale incluant le classement et autre tâches connexes aux achats.

Éducation & compétences:

Formation académique en gestion de la chaîne d’approvisionnement ou domaine connexe
1 à 3 ans d'expériences dans un poste similaire
Expérience de travail dans aux achats et environnement manufacturier un atout
Connaissances de la suite Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Habilitées de communication supérieures et attitude professionnelle
Bonne capacité à travailler sous pression
Bilingue (Anglais et français parlés autant qu'à l'écrit)

Your role at CDS :

Under the supervision of the Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for supporting procurement operations by monitoring purchase orders and back orders within the ERP system, coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, managing discrepancies, and maintaining accurate data. You will also participate in the purchasing process and inventory replenishment, respond to internal and external needs, and support sourcing activities, inventory analysis, as well as various administrative tasks related to purchasing.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Senior Buyer in day-to-day operations
Perform thorough follow-up on outstanding orders (“back orders”) and ensure their continuous update in the ERP system
Monitor purchase orders with suppliers to ensure timely delivery in accordance with required deadlines
Resolve issues related to missing items, undelivered goods, damaged merchandise, and similar discrepancies
Update delivery dates in the system accurately and in a timely manner
Enter purchase orders into the system and transmit them via email to suppliers
Replenish inventory by ordering minimum and maximum stock levels for the storeroom
Respond to internal and external stakeholder requests in a timely and professional manner
Support the Senior Buyer in sourcing activities, including research and information gathering on new products and suppliers
Assist the Inventory Specialist in analyzing and maintaining appropriate inventory levels
Perform various clerical duties, including filing and other tasks related to purchasing operation

Requirements:

Academic background in supply chain management or related field
1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role
Work experience in purchasing and manufacturing environment an asset
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel)
Superior communication skills and professional attitude
Good aptitude to work in a stressful environment
Bilingual (English and French spoken as much as written)
