Full job description

Job Summary

This is a casual, in-office position reporting directly to the Executive Director. The successful candidate will provide administrative and operational support to both the Volunteer Coordinator and the Client Services Coordinator. As a member of our small team, you will be involved in a variety of tasks and should be flexible, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Provide general administrative and operational support to the organization.
Assist the Volunteer Coordinator and Client Services Coordinator with day-to-day activities.
Support community outreach initiatives, fundraising events, volunteer appreciation activities, and public education events.
Maintain accurate records and assist with data entry and filing.
Prepare correspondence, presentations, reports, and other documents.
Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and provide welcoming customer service.
Demonstrate professionalism and maintain appropriate boundaries with staff, volunteers, clients, and members of the community.
Participate as an active and collaborative member of the SHS team.
Proven experience in an office environment with clerical or administrative responsibilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications

Pay: $23.00 per hour
