Overview
Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a CNC Operator and become a vital part of producing precision-engineered components. In this energetic role, you will operate and monitor CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to ensure high-quality production standards are met. Your mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and passion for machining will drive efficiency and excellence in our manufacturing processes. Duties
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines and press brake machines to produce parts according to detailed blueprints and specifications
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files to ensure precise machining operations
- Program CNC equipment to optimize machine performance and part quality
- Perform routine inspections using calipers, hand tools, and other measuring devices to verify dimensions and adherence to quality standards
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the manufacturing process, making adjustments as needed for optimal output
- Maintain a clean, organized work area while adhering to safety protocols; operate forklifts for material handling when necessary
- Assist with assembly, packaging, and warehouse tasks to support overall production flow
Skills
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading, mechanical knowledge, and manufacturing processes
- Ability to operate hand tools, calipers, and basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations
- Knowledge of welding techniques and use of welding equipment is a plus
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for machine automation control systems
- Ability to operate overhead crane and forklifts safely; certification preferred but not required
- Experience in quality control procedures within a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Basic understanding of machining operations like CNC programming, machining setup, and troubleshooting.
Pay: $17.60-$28.38 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
