Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service and hospitality, with a passion for providing outstanding customer service. As a Server, you will be responsible for managing guest orders, ensuring food safety, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly while providing excellent guest services throughout their dining experience.
Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring that all dishes meet quality standards before serving.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as necessary.
Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and address any guest concerns promptly.
Demonstrate effective time management skills to balance multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience preferred, with a solid understanding of the food industry and serving practices.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
Knowledge of food handling procedures and sanitation practices is essential.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor that enhances guest interactions.
Experience with cash handling and cashiering duties is advantageous.
