CAE is the prime contractor responsible for the NATO Flying Training in Canada’s (NFTC) program as well as the Future Air Crew Training (FACT) program, in Moose Jaw, SK, that produces qualified military pilots for the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) and other global defence customers. CAE operates the NFTC base facilities, delivers the ground-school classroom and simulator training, and supports the live flying training on a fleet of Beechcraft T-6 (CT-156 Harvard) trainer aircrafts. Pay: Up to $43.96/ hour
All tooling provided on site
Clothing, work boots and safety glasses allowance provided
Expected hours: minimum 40 hours per week

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Aircraft Structures Technician is responsible for inspection, modification, and repair of aircraft structures.
In your role, you will:
Inspect, modify, and repair damage to maintain the structural integrity of the aircraft.
Remove and replace line replaceable units and components.
Specialty work in maintenance shops as required.
Interpret technical publications and diagrams.
Carry out workplace inspections and clean ups.
Education
Experience
Candidate Must:
Have proven experience or ability to work as part of a team.
Have good oral and written communication skills.
Be able to work shifts; some travel required.
Possess a valid driver’s license.
Be able to obtain a Reliability security clearance from the Government of Canada
Be eligible to work in Canada, either as a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or valid Work Permit.
Successfully pass and maintain security evaluation per the requirements of the Controlled Goods Directorate of Canada and to CAE being able to obtain all necessary re-transfer authorization in compliance with US ITAR regulations.
