Overview

Join our team as a Dishwasher/Cleaner, where your energy and attention to detail will keep our butcher shop running smoothly and our environment spotless. This vital role ensures that cleanliness standards are maintained at all times.

Responsibilities

Efficiently wash dishes, knives, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning techniques and tools.
Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, including counters, sinks, and floors, adhering to health and safety standards.
Assist with food handling and preparation tasks as needed, supporting the butcher shop team in maintaining a hygienic workspace.
Support butcher shop operations by ensuring everything is clean, readily available and put away in its proper places
Follow proper waste disposal procedures and manage recycling efforts to promote an eco-friendly environment.
Ensure compliance with sanitation regulations and safety protocols at all times.
Collaborate with butcher shop staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service periods.
Work independently after hours to complete cleaning duties.

Skills

Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards within a butcher shop, restaurant or hospitality setting.
Previous experience in butchering, food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is highly desirable.
Ability to handle food safely and understand basic food handling practices.
Experience with food preparation or cooking is a plus but not required.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Enthusiastic attitude with a commitment to excellence.
