Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our warehouse. This role includes managing shipping and receiving processes, supervising warehouse staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Shipping and Receiving:
Oversee and coordinate all shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and damage, resolving discrepancies as needed.
Organize and schedule outgoing shipments, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with company policies.
Maintain up-to-date records of all shipping and receiving transactions.
Warehouse Operations:
Supervise daily warehouse activities, including order picking, packing, loading, and unloading.
Implement and enforce standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Conduct regular inventory audits and ensure inventory accuracy.
Coordinate with other departments to meet operational needs and resolve logistical challenges.
Team Supervision:
Lead, mentor, and train warehouse staff to achieve performance goals.
Monitor employee performance, providing feedback and support to foster professional development.
Schedule shifts and allocate resources to optimize productivity.
Ensure team compliance with safety standards and company policies.
Safety and Compliance:
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Conduct regular safety inspections and address potential hazards promptly.
Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or relevant certification is a plus.
Proven experience in warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving responsibilities.
Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse management.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
Capability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Work Environment: This position operates in a warehouse environment and may involve exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
