Nuclear Medicine Technologist – New Grads Welcome

$45–$50/hr + Signing Bonus + Tuition Reimbursement

Alberta Cardiology & Medical Consultants Inc. is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for our growing outpatient cardiac diagnostic centre in Edmonton, Alberta.

Qualified new graduates may be eligible for up to ONE YEAR of Nuclear Medicine Technology tuition reimbursement, in addition to a signing bonus, based on an agreed employment contract term.

Your Role

You will work in a specialized outpatient cardiac environment alongside Cardiologists, Internal Medicine Physicians and an experienced clinical team.

Responsibilities include:

Myocardial Perfusion Imaging (MPI)
Rest and stress imaging
Exercise and pharmacologic stress testing
Hot lab duties
Daily quality-control procedures
Radiation safety procedures
Patient preparation and monitoring
Maintaining patient safety and comfort
Accurate clinical documentation
Collaboration with physicians and clinic staff

Qualifications

Graduate of a recognized Nuclear Medicine Technology program
CAMRT certified or eligible
ACMDTT registered or eligible for registration
Current or obtainable BLS certification
WHMIS and TDG certification
Strong patient-care and communication skills
Professional, dependable and motivated to learn

Previous Nuclear Medicine experience is an asset, but new graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
