Full job description

Job Summary
The Loft Therapy & Wellness is seeking a Registered Psychologist, Registered Social Worker (Masters level) or other professional designation for an independent contractor position. This position would include primarily individual counselling, but interest in couples and family counselling is an asset. This position offers flexibility in hours, and allows you to choose your own schedule. The majority of the work is done in-person, therefore remote applicants will not be considered at this time.

Responsibilities

Conduct assessments and evaluations of individuals to determine their needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
Provide counseling and support to individuals, families, and groups to address emotional, behavioral, and social issues
Collaborate with other professionals to coordinate care and ensure the best outcomes for clients
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and progress per The Loft Therapy & Wellness standards
Stay informed about community resources and refer clients to appropriate services as needed
Participate in inter-disciplinary meetings, peer consult team meetings, and collaborative meetings
Participate in ongoing professional development

Requirements

Master's degree Psychology, Social Work or related field (Bachelor level is not being considered at this time)
Active registration in good standing with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists -An experienced practitioner with an established caseload or motivated to grow your caseload with the support of our team
Thorough understanding and adherence to your governing body’s ethical guidelines
Proof of personal liability insurance
Additional training in one of: Somatic Experiencing, ART, EMDR, Gottman couples therapy or similar is considered a strong asset
2 years of experience in a therapy setting is considered an asset
Experience in addressing and supporting common mental health conditions, such as depression, anxiety, trauma, etc.
Experience in a private practice setting is considered a strong asset

Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Brings a steady and grounded presence into the therapy room, clinic and to the team
Organized, reliable, ethical and able to manage your clinic responsibilities with care
Drawn to a clinic that values clinical excellence, integrity and sustainability. Where your work is meaningful, balanced and well supported

Full administrative support 6 days a week, including billing, payment processing, booking and 3rd party invoicing support
A collaborative team environment with other therapists, a Naturopathic doctor and other professionals
Practice management software, video therapy platform, online scheduling, payment system, paperwork templates, and professional email address

Flexible hours and the ability to create your own schedule
