Position Summary

As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will perform a broad range of diagnostic ultrasound examinations while providing exceptional patient care. Working closely with radiologists, referring physicians, and fellow healthcare professionals, you'll play an important role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging that helps patients receive timely diagnoses and treatment.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, values clinical excellence, and is passionate about making a meaningful difference in patient care.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with departmental protocols.
Complete diagnostic ultrasound examinations including:
Abdomen
Pelvis
Obstetrics
Gynecology
Small Parts
Vascular
Musculoskeletal (MSK)
Produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation.
Ensure accurate documentation and image acquisition.
Provide compassionate, professional, and patient-centered care.
Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all privacy regulations.
Work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and clinic staff.
Follow Wosler Diagnostics' quality assurance, patient safety, and infection prevention standards.
Maintain ultrasound equipment and report any technical concerns.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications Required

Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
Current registration (or eligible for registration) with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Professionals of Saskatchewan (CMRIPS).
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Preferred

Experience performing a broad range of diagnostic ultrasound examinations.
Previous experience working in a diagnostic imaging clinic is considered an asset.
