Full job description

Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to lead our retail operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive retail management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves overseeing daily store activities, managing staff, and ensuring the store meets its sales and operational goals. Bilingual abilities and proficiency in various retail tools are highly desirable to effectively communicate with diverse teams and customers. The Store Manager will play a pivotal role in driving sales, maintaining merchandising standards, and fostering a positive shopping environment.

Duties

Lead and supervise store staff, including recruiting, training, and developing team members to ensure high performance.
Oversee daily store operations, including cash handling, cashiering, and POS system management.
Develop and implement merchandising strategies to optimize product placement and pricing.
Manage inventory purchasing, stock levels, and supply chain coordination to meet customer demand.
Conduct sales management activities such as setting sales targets, analyzing sales data, and developing marketing initiatives.
Handle customer service issues promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
Monitor store budget, perform bookkeeping tasks, and manage payroll processing.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Organize promotional events and marketing campaigns to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
Maintain organizational efficiency through effective time management, communication skills, and administrative oversight.

Requirements

Proven experience in retail management or store supervision with strong leadership capabilities.
Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
Proficiency in POS systems, merchandising software, payroll processing, and basic bookkeeping.
Strong negotiation skills with experience in purchasing and pricing strategies.
Demonstrated ability in team management, supervising staff, training & development initiatives.
Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in cash handling, inventory control, and administrative tasks.
Ability to manage budgets effectively while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Must have very good or excellent knowledge of Microsoft systems.
Experience in marketing strategies and sales management to drive revenue growth.
Skilled in interviewing potential employees and fostering a positive work environment.
Strong math skills for pricing calculations and financial analysis.
Excellent phone etiquette and organizational skills for efficient store operations. Must be 19 years of age or older and have a Cannasell Certificate.
Cannabis knowledge preferred but not required.
