Work Location

This position will be based in Saskatoon, SK. The associated work schedule will be 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Hybrid working (flexible, shared workstations and a combination of office and work from home) is standard for BHP.

BHP offers domestic relocation assistance to support the successful incumbent in transitioning, if required. Benefits offered as part of the relocation program include (but are not limited to) new home purchase assistance, temporary accommodations, home finding trip and a resettlement allowance.

BHP's Maintenance and Engineering Centre of Excellence (MECoE) are the coming together of a dedicated, innovative team focused on identifying, achieving, and maintaining the highest standards in maintenance for BHP globally. The Challenge Ahead

We are currently recruiting and seeking applications from highly motivated talent with experience in the maintenance, engineering or resource industries, who are interested in upcoming opportunities within the Maintenance Strategy Governance (MSG) team.

As part of the MSG team, you will improve the way equipment is maintained through our core processes of maintenance strategy development, governance, optimisation and product management.

In this role, you will be required to interface with other Functions across the business, Operational leadership teams and with the other sub-functions within the Maintenance and Engineering Centre of Excellence. It is therefore essential that you can effectively communicate, engage and influence at all levels, foster a collaborative environment and are able to travel.

What You’ll Bring to the Role

Electrical trade or engineering qualification preferred.
Reliability and maintenance strategy experience (RCM, RCA, FMECA, APM, SAP/1SAP).
Strong understanding of asset management and maintenance systems.
Able to use data and reliability insights to improve equipment performance.
Experience working with OEMs to address equipment issues and drive product improvements.
Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset with a focus on reliability, cost, and performance outcomes.
