Position: Marine Technician

Salary: $30.00-$40.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Are you an experienced technician with a passion for marine equipment? We're looking for a skilled Marine Technician to join our growing service team. This is not an apprentice position; we are seeking a fully capable technician with proven industry experience who can independently diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of marine products.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and committed to delivering exceptional service.

With locations in Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan, we are a full-service marine dealership offering boat sales, service, parts, accessories, and dock and lift solutions. Martin Motor Sports Saskatoon is proud to be one of Saskatchewan's premier marine dealerships, representing leading brands including Supra, Moomba, Crestliner, Harris, Regal, Cobalt, Formula, and Cruisers Yachts.

In addition to our retail and dealership operations, Martin Motor Sports has a growing e-commerce presence, allowing us to support customers both in-store and online. We are committed to delivering a high-quality customer experience, supported by knowledgeable teams and strong operational support across all locations.

Our ideal candidate:

Able to physically perform all necessary duties of the position
Team Player with strong Diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
A strong work ethic with a "can-do" attitude to ensure client expectations are met
Have prior Automotive, power sports or ideally Marine mechanical experience
Journeyman Automotive or Marine certificate an asset but not required.
Proven attention to detail, motivated and willing to learn, reliable, organized, punctual and ready to contribute to a positive working environment
Interest in boats and the lake lifestyle an asset
Possess and maintain own basic tools. Specific tools & diagnostic equipment provided

· Stay current with evolving technology, products, and manufacturer service procedures.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair customer units.
Perform scheduled maintenance on customer units.
Communicate with parts department on repair order requirements.
Perform pre-delivery inspections of new in stock and sold units.
Perform pre-owned inspections and provide reports of work required.
Work closely with Service Advisor and Manager to ensure schedules maintained.

· Work with computers to diagnose and repair units as well as interact with shop systems.
