Job Description

Solara Agri-Tech is hiring an experienced part-time Technical Writer to join our team in Saskatoon. This position is responsible for creating clear, concise, and accurate documentation for our agricultural technology products and software.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Write and maintain user manuals, installation guides, and standard operating procedures.
Develop content for our online help center and knowledge base.
Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and software developers to gather product information.
Translate complex technical information into easily understandable content for end-users.
Edit and proofread documentation to ensure consistency and quality.
Create diagrams, charts, and other visual aids to assist in explaining technical concepts.

Qualifications:

Requires a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Technical Writer or in a similar role.
Must have a proven ability to write high-quality technical documentation. A portfolio of writing samples will be required.
Requires excellent written communication skills and a strong command of grammar and style.
The ability to understand and document complex technical systems is essential.
Experience in the agriculture, engineering, or software industry is a strong asset.
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Pay: $55.00-$65.00 per hour
