You will be responsible for controlling the stock and the handling of different products from the warehouse and boutique to ensure the delivery and presentation of Nespresso products.
Responsible for developing inventory-tracking systems, reviewing levels of supplies, ordering new materials, and performing a daily analysis.
You'll work on logistics and inventory tasks, organize and help keep the boutique running smoothly.
Encourages team members, including communicating team goals, creating a culture of safety, and identifying areas for new training or skill checks.
Responsibilities
Your duties as a Senior Stock Specialist will be as follows:
Inventory Management, Control & Accuracy
Be responsible for controlling the stock and the physical handling of products from the warehouse, backroom, and boutique floor to ensure the optimal presentation of Nespresso products.
You may be asked to lead the entire inventory process, ensuring 100% accuracy in stock counts, transfers, and system reconciliation.
Responsible for developing or maintaining inventory-tracking systems.
Review levels of supplies, order new materials, and perform a daily analysis to ensure accuracy.
Execute mandatory FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) checks and accurately report any product nearing its best-before date.
Accurately complete all stock transfers and internal movements within the designated systems and timelines.
Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot inventory-tracking systems, generating daily, weekly, and monthly analysis reports on stock movement, discrepancies, and replenishment needs for the management team.
Leadership and Training
Mentor and train new and junior Stock Specialists and general sales staff on proper receiving, transfer, storage, and safety procedures.
Act as the go-to procedural expert for all back-of-house operations, answering questions and resolving complex inventory issues without management intervention.
Assist in creating a strong culture of safety, actively identifying gaps in training or compliance, and proposing corrective actions to the management team.
Lead daily or weekly huddles for the stock team to communicate goals, operational changes, and priorities.
Physical & Logistics Operations
Work on logistics and inventory tasks, organize, and help keep the boutique running smoothly, ensuring the sales floor is continuously stocked.
This role Includes the physical duties of safely lifting, pushing, pulling, and maneuvering boxes and heavy items of various sizes and weights, consistent with provincial safety standards.
You will need to strictly adhere to safety protocols.
Be responsible for processing and reconciling large or complex inbound shipments, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and processed within required timelines.
Ensure the stockroom and all storage areas meet all company, safety, and provincial/local regulations for organization and hazard prevention.
Proactively identify and report any recurring inventory discrepancies, potential incidents of theft, or serious safety concerns to the management team immediately.

You will be required to maintain a high degree of professionalism and adherence to all company policies, including all workplace conduct and safety protocols.

Experience
Experience in a similar role
Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
You must be available to work weekdays, week evenings and all day Saturday and Sunday.
