The Kennedy Eye Clinic & The Eye Studio by Kennedy Eye Clinic team is looking for an optometric assistant to join our team because one of our own is going to optometry school this Fall! ! We are a fun group of people and office culture is very important and at the heart is everything we do. We are a full-scope independent group of optometry clinics; amazing customer service is what we are known for. If you want a career where you are proud to come to work and help people, while surrounding yourself by an amazing team, then this may be the job for you!

We are looking for someone to work FT 36-40 hours a week as a receptionist/pre-tester. The job would go between both of our locations (one is in Sutherland and one is in the Broadway area). This position is for 4 days a week (three to four 10 hour shifts and two Saturdays a month, which are 6 hour shifts).

Our brand speaks for itself because we strive for excellence in everything that we do and now we are looking to expand our work family with the right person. Applications will ONLY be considered if you write a cover letter indicating why you'd be a good fit, especially if you don't have experience in the field. What we need you to do:

· Check in patients, run through insurance, book appointments, answer phone calls and take payments

· Pre-test patients before they see the doctor

· Keep the office organized and clean

· Be able to troubleshoot independently

Qualifications:

· You MUST be good with people!

· You need to be able to help patients of all ages and of all backgrounds

· Have a positive attitude and mindset

· Organization and attention to detail is key so you must be able to multi-task

· Be professional yet enthusiastic

· Respond well to constructive criticism

Hours

· We are open Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday from 8am-6pm, Thursdays from 9am-7pm, and Saturdays from 9-3. We are closed every long weekend.

Compensation:

· Starts at $17/hour and will be higher based on how much experience in the industry you have
