Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting our products to various customers across the province. Your enthusiasm for driving and commitment to excellent customer service will help us maintain our reputation as a trusted industry leader. Duties

Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver products to retail, wholesale, and institutional customers
Load and unload products to and from company vans and/or 5 tonnes trucks
Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule, maintaining proper documentation
Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with transportation regulations
Communicate effectively with the manager, order desk, sales account manager and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues
Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of delivery vehicles to ensure optimal performance

Qualifications

Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record
Experience operating larger vehicles including 5 tonne trucks is preferred
Knowledge of how to perform basic automotive repairs if necessary would be an asset
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate delivery documentation
Physical ability to lift heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks safely
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards customer service
