Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plumber to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing infrastructure meets safety standards and project specifications, contributing to successful building projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity for hands-on work in a fast-paced environment where your mechanical knowledge and craftsmanship will make a tangible impact. Huckson's employs Plumbers, Water Analysts and Well Technicians and specializes in rural water solutions and plumbing needs.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately install plumbing systems.
Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and appliances using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading machines.
Collaborate with construction teams to ensure plumbing work aligns with project timelines and safety protocols.
Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment necessary for plumbing installations or repairs.
Conduct remodeling and remodeling-related plumbing tasks to upgrade or modify existing systems.
Install and service water treatment equipment including water softeners, iron, sediment, organic units and ultraviolet systems.
Follow all safety guidelines and protocols on construction sites to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

Experience

Proven experience in residential and commercial service plumbing with a solid understanding of plumbing systems. Minimum 3rd year apprenticeship is required to meet the responsibilities of this role
Experience in water treatment installations and servicing for residential and commercial clients is a definite asset
Hands-on experience with welding, pipe threading, schematics reading, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
Familiarity with construction site procedures, blueprint reading, and mechanical schematics.
Knowledge of carpentry basics, and remodeling processes is a plus.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in demanding environments.
Valid Class G driver’s license and clean criminal abstract are required

Pay: $28.00-$42.00 per hour
