Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for food preparation, and a deep understanding of food safety and kitchen operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee kitchen activities, manage food service operations, and ensure the delivery of high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant management or supervising experience is highly valued, along with a background in the food industry and hospitality.

Duties

Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service
Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food handling, cooking, and presentation
Develop menus in collaboration with management, ensuring variety and quality
Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and sanitation procedures
Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs
Train new staff on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and customer service standards
Ensure timely serving of dishes to meet customer expectations
Monitor kitchen cleanliness and organization at all times
Provide leadership during busy hours to maintain high standards of service and teamwork

Skills

Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting
Expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and handling procedures
Excellent team management and leadership abilities
Experience in restaurant management or food industry operations
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional communication skills for serving customers and coordinating staff
Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
Demonstrated ability to manage inventory and control costs effectively
