Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Contractor to join our construction and renovation team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of technical skills and experience in various aspects of construction, including carpentry, masonry, exterior finishing , and interior finishing. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential to commercial, utilizing your expertise to deliver high-quality results. The Contractor will be responsible for executing assigned tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards and project specifications.

Duties

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of projects
Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively
Perform concrete forming, finishing, and restoration work as required
Install cabinetry, flooring, and other interior finishes with precision
Install Siding, soffit and facia
Apply caulking and painting techniques to enhance project aesthetics and durability
Install windows and doors
Collaborate with team members to ensure project milestones are met on schedule
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols at all times

Skills

Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings
Experience with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and construction machinery
Ability to interpret schematics and construction estimating documents
Skilled in construction painting, restoration work, cabinet installation, flooring installation, caulking, and drywall finishing
Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and general construction practices
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
