The Opportunity
The Analyst II, Transition to Run is responsible for managing the seamless transition of new or modified IT services into the operational environment. This role ensures that all service, technical, and operational requirements are fully met, supporting a smooth handover from project delivery to business-as-usual operations while maintaining service quality, stability, and performance in Toronto, ON/Brazil.
This role acts as a central coordinator, bridging the gap between project delivery and operational support, ensuring all parties are aligned for a successful transition.
You will report to the Manager Transition to Run and End User Training and collaborate with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, and external vendors.

You are a highly organized and detail-oriented IT professional with a passion for delivering smooth and high-quality service transitions. You excel at working across teams, managing complexity, and ensuring that new services are introduced into production environments with minimal disruption. You are proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
You bring strong communication and stakeholder management skills and enjoy collaborating with both technical and business teams. You are confident in handling challenges, resolving issues, and driving continuous improvement.
In This Role, You Will:
Service Transition & Delivery

Lead end-to-end transition of IT services into operations.

Develop and execute comprehensive transition plans.

Ensure services are fully tested, validated, and documented prior to deployment.

Coordinate with technical teams to resolve transition issues and optimize performance.
Project & Stakeholder Management

Engage stakeholders and ensure alignment across project, business, and operations teams.

Monitor progress, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

Ensure transitions are delivered on time, within scope, and at required quality standards.
Process & Continuous Improvement

Apply ITIL practices across service design, transition, and operations.

Support continuous improvement initiatives and post-transition reviews.

Standardize documentation, templates, and transition processes.
Tools & Systems

Use ITSM tools to track transition activities and documentation.

Maintain CMDB accuracy and service asset information.

Monitor service performance and identify improvement opportunities.
Training & Enablement

Provide training and support for operational teams.

Ensure readiness for service ownership post-transition.
Education & Certifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

ITIL Foundation certification (required)

Advanced ITIL certifications (e.g., Practitioner, Intermediate) – preferred

Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) – preferred
Experience:
-
Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT service management, service transition, or a related field

Proven experience managing end-to-end service transitions

Experience working with IT infrastructure, applications, and operations teams

Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management

Experience with ITSM tools, CMDB, and service reporting

Exposure to cloud environments and modern IT ecosystems is an asset
