An essential operation within our organization, the Warehouse Team successfully handles and coordinates the functions within warehouse including inventory control, paperwork and tracking; picking, packing, shipping and receiving. And at all times maintains the facility’s efficiency including upkeep and operations such as organization, housekeeping, and assembly.
As our Assembler , you will require:
· Millwork/cabinet assembly experience
· Manufacturing experience
· Experience using hand tools such as cordless drill, countersinks, taps, trimmers
· Experience using horizontal boring machine, drill press, chop saw, table saw and laser engraver
· Must have an eye for detail
· Capable of lifting upwards of 50lbs independently
· Assist in other areas of warehouse as required
· Maintain a clean work area at all times
· Strive for continuous improvement by being proactive to maximize efficiency
· Must meet daily targets
· Capable of cutting, drilling and assembling aluminum rails
As our Assembler, you must have:
· Counterbalance /Reach certification with prior experience using fork extensions for oversized loads (pallets up to 7’x14’);
· Flexibility to accept the unexpected or changes to routine operations;
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills with excellent fluency in English;
· A professional demeanor, trustworthy and flexible;
· The ability to perform under tight deadlines; working in a fast paced environment;
· Strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills;
· Skill using hand tools, skill saw, and metal strapping machine;
· From time to time will have to load trucks for shipping.
This is a new contract position.
