Starting Annual Salary: $96,000

Are you a strategic, people-focused leader who thrives in a dynamic senior living environment?

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead overall community operations, drive financial performance, ensure legislative compliance, and champion exceptional resident experiences. This is a senior leadership role for someone who combines operational discipline with compassion and strong team engagement skills.

What You Will Lead

Full operational oversight of a seniors’ living community
Quality care delivery aligned with applicable legislation and professional standards
Budget development, financial management, and capital planning
Recruitment, performance management, and development of leadership teams
Unionized workforce management (where applicable)
Regulatory compliance, public health inspections, and risk management
Fire safety and emergency preparedness programs
Occupancy growth, marketing alignment, and leasing performance
Resident and family engagement, complaint resolution, and service excellence
Privacy and information governance as the designated Privacy Officer

What You Bring

5+ years of senior leadership experience in retirement living, long-term care, or healthcare operations
Strong knowledge of applicable employment, health & safety, tenancy, labour, and privacy legislation
Proven success managing budgets and driving operational performance
Experience leading managers and multidisciplinary teams
Confidence managing inspections, compliance audits, and complex operational challenges
Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and conflict-resolution skills
A leadership style that balances accountability with empathy
