Overview

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Salon Manager to oversee daily operations, inspire staff, and deliver exceptional experiences to clients. In this role, you will be the driving force behind a thriving salon environment, ensuring smooth management of sales, staff performance, and client satisfaction. Responsibilities

Lead and supervise salon staff, including hairstylists, receptionists, and assistants, fostering a positive team environment focused on excellence.
Manage daily salon operations, including scheduling, inventory control, and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
Oversee retail sales efforts by merchandising products effectively and implementing promotional strategies to boost revenue.
Handle all aspects of payroll processing, budgeting, and financial recordkeeping with accuracy and integrity.
Conduct recruiting activities such as interviewing candidates, onboarding new team members, and providing ongoing training & development.
Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing client inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for transactions, pricing adjustments, and sales reporting while managing cash handling procedures responsibly.

Requirements

Proven supervising experience in retail or service environments with strong leadership skills.
Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele effectively.
Demonstrated expertise in recruiting, training & development, and team management.
Proficiency in payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and administrative tasks.
Knowledge of merchandising strategies, pricing techniques, sales management, and store management principles.
Excellent communication skills paired with phone etiquette and organizational skills to coordinate daily operations smoothly.
Experience with POS systems, cashiering procedures, marketing initiatives, and retail sales techniques.
Strong math skills for cash handling and financial recordkeeping; familiarity with purchasing processes is a plus.
Ability to manage time efficiently while multitasking in a fast-paced environment; previous supervisory or managerial experience is preferred.
