Looking for someone with experience in commercial restoration, especially hot applied waterproofing. Must have a vehicle and valid working at heights. Our shop is in Schomberg, the work is all over the GTA - meeting on site is fine. Must have a reliable vehicle.
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Laborer to join our construction team. This role involves assisting with various building projects, supporting skilled trades, and ensuring the smooth operation of construction activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to follow instructions, and a willingness to learn new skills in a dynamic environment. Prior experience with construction-related tasks and tools is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated individuals. This position offers valuable hands-on experience across multiple facets of construction and renovation projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to assist with project tasks
- Perform concrete forming, finishing, and related tasks as directed
- Support restoration projects by preparing surfaces
- Assist with demolition work and site cleanup to maintain safety standards
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
Requirements
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, concrete forming, masonry, carpentry
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely (training provided if needed)
- Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well within a team environment
- Willingness to learn new skills related to construction trades
- Prior experience in restoration or waterproofing
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

- Working at Heights Certificate (required)
