Full job description

Accounting Assistant / Data Entry Clerk (Part-Time)Location: Stony Mountain, MB
Schedule: Approximately 1 day per week (with occasional additional days depending on workload)

About Us: We are a growing group of businesses operating in the construction, commercial property, and retail industries. We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper / Accounting Assistant to join our accounting team on a flexible part-time basis. This position is ideal for someone looking for consistent part-time work with the opportunity to work full-time as our business grows.

Responsibilities

Enter supplier bills and receipts into QuickBooks Online
Organize and file invoices and supporting documentation
Match receipts to transactions
Assist with maintaining accurate accounting records
Review data for accuracy and completeness
Communicate with the accounting team regarding missing or incomplete documentation
Perform other general bookkeeping and administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications

Previous bookkeeping experience preferred
Experience with QuickBooks Online is a strong asset
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Comfortable working with invoices, receipts, and financial documentation
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently while also collaborating with the accounting team
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
