POSITION SUMMARY
Eastside Industrial Coatings and Composites is looking for an experienced Administration Profressional with Accounting experience.
The successful candidate will work directly with the Controller, completing various accounting-related tasks and providing exceptional customer service to our customers. Our facility is a fast-paced environment, so the candidate's skills should include the ability to work under pressure with great attention to detail.
This position is a full-time, hourly paid which includes many of our benefits, such as a Monday to Friday schedule and an amazing complement of employee benefits.
BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE POSITIONS DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | Accounting
- Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system for accuracy and proper authorization.
- Payment Execution (A/P): Prepare and issue electronic payments (ACH, wire transfers) checks and visa payments to suppliers in accordance with payment schedules.
- Accounts Receivable (A/R): Produce and send out invoices, collect invoice payments.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile processed work by comparing system reports to balances and verifying entries. Balance to monthly statements.
- Vendor Management: Respond to vendor inquiries, resolve invoice discrepancies, and maintain strong professional relationships.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE POSITIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES | Administrative Duties
- Being a positive and attentive first impression by greeting customers over the phone and identifying what services they require.
- Answering phones, e-mails and responding to incoming text requests.
- Listening carefully to the customer's needs and concerns.
- Take customer payments
- Basic phone & Computer duties.
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS
- Required: Minimum 2 years as an administrative professional.
- Required: Minimum 2 years in a finance role completing A/R and A/P duties.
- Required: Knowledge of procession payments.
- Required: Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
QUALIFICATIONS, WORK CONDITIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of accounting software Sage Business works
- Analytical Skills: High attention to detail with the ability to detect discrepancies and solve problems.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Able to provide excellent customer service to our customers, even in high-stress periods.
