Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Training Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing and implementing training programs that enhance employee skills and knowledge within our organization. This position requires strong communication abilities, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of supply chain processes. The Training Coordinator will work closely with various departments to ensure that training initiatives align with company goals and improve overall operational efficiency.

Duties

Develop, implement, and manage training programs related to shipping and receiving processes.
Coordinate training sessions for employees on transportation management systems and supply chain best practices.
Utilize software tools such as SyteLine and AS400 for data entry and tracking training progress.
Communicate effectively with team members to identify training needs and gather feedback on program effectiveness.
Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and employee progress.
Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure comprehensive training on freight management.
Provide ongoing support and resources for employees to enhance their skills in phone etiquette and customer service within the supply chain context.

Qualifications

Proven experience(6 month to 1 year) in a training or instructional role, preferably within the logistics or supply chain industry.
Strong understanding of shipping, receiving, freight operations, and transportation management systems.
Proficiency in data entry with attention to detail; familiarity with SyteLine or AS400 is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information to diverse audiences.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Experience with 3PL operations is desirable but not mandatory.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30,000.00-$39,000.00 per year
