Full job description

Receive stock, pick orders and ship inventory items accurately and quickly.
Keep accurate records, reporting shortages and out of stocks to manager.
Responsible for all janitorial duties pertaining to interior and exterior building maintenance.
Assist sales staff with computer generated invoicing.
Assist sales staff to keep merchandising and displays stocked, clean and priced.
Maintain a positive, upbeat, friendly attitude while assisting customers.
Answer phones and take orders from customers for shipping.
Assist with special promotional events on or off site as required.
Other tasks as deemed necessary by management.

Job requirements

Ensure a high level of customer service to walk-in and phone-in customers. Customer service experience an asset.
Maintain a neat, clean, professional appearance.
Must have high school graduation diploma and a valid Ontario driver’s license.
Must be comfortable working with various computer programs ie, Microsoft Office.
Shipping/receiving experience an asset.
Fork lift license an asset.
Attention to detail necessary.

This is a full time position. Hours are 8:30-5:00 Monday to Friday. Possibility of overtime is required. We are looking for a friendly, motivated, ambitious team player to join our company. We are a small family owned business that has been in operation for 35 years and the successful candidate will be a complimentary addition to our team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
