Job Overview-Potato Grader
We are looking for dependable and hardworking Potato Grader to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, grading, and sorting potatoes to ensure they meet our quality standards before being stored, packaged and shipped. We are currently hiring for our seasonal harvest graders for Sept to October with the opportunity of partime employment to follow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect potatoes for size, quality, defects, and damage.
- Sort and grade potatoes according to established quality standards.
- Remove damaged, rotten, or unsuitable product.
- Monitor product as it moves through the grading and packing process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all food safety, workplace safety, and company procedures.
- Assist with general duties in the grading and packing area as required.
- Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced agricultural environment.
