Job Description

Aramark is Hiring a General Helper / Barista for the LLC Café at Bishop’s University

Position: General Helper – Barista

Location: Bishop’s University (2600 College Street, Sherbrooke, QC J1M 1Z7)

Salary: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule: To be discussed during the interview. This is a part-time position for the summer and will become full-time in the fall.

Start Date: Immediate

Job Responsibilities

Prepare quality beverages, brewed coffee, and food items for customers by following established recipes and standards
Provide exceptional customer service, always placing the customer first
Operate the cash register
Setting up workstations and service areas
Preparing sandwiches
Rotate food products according to established procedures
Restock refrigerators
Clean service areas
Follow all established safety regulations
Respond effectively to operational needs
Perform any other related duties as required

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 to 3 years of café experience is considered an asset
Ability to learn quickly
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions and seek clarification when necessary
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Relationship-building skills
Strong organizational skills
Positive attitude
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Customer service oriented

Bilingualism is an asset, as some of our customers are English-speaking
