The Position: We are looking for teachers! We are looking for high energy, and highly qualified Private Piano, Private Voice and Group Rock Band teacher(s) to join our team in late August 2026. This role is part-time with the following approx. schedule. We are willing to break the role into more than one role for the right candidate(s).

Monday, Tuesday approximately 4pm to 9pm
Wednesday, Thursday approximately 4pm to 9pm with ROCK BAND teaching (voice/piano expertise needed)
Saturday approximately 10am to 4pm
We can expand on these hours for the right Piano/Voice private teacher candidate.

You must be available to work weekday evenings and Saturdays as these are our busiest times in our studio.

Crescendo Music Studios is a family-owned business based in Sherwood Park, AB that has grown over the past 20 years from a small home studio into a large, reputable music school with over 1000 students. We have a proven track record as a performing music school that provides high-quality music education.

Job Requirements:

The suitable candidate must have at least one of the following:

A music degree or equivalent experience in the instrument for which you are applying. Please be sure to indicate your specific instrument and experience/education when applying.
A minimum Grade 8 RCM piano standing with Theory (or professional equivalent).

The candidate must also have:

Previous teaching experience with a variety of ages.
Knowledge and application of standard teaching methods.
A clean Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check.
A positive attitude and desire for lifelong learning!

Responsibilities:

Teach to a high-standard, students of all ages.
Maintain a professional and encouraging attitude with students and colleagues.
Create an engaging, creative and holistic music learning environment for all students.
Create detailed practice plans for each student.
