Full job description

SLH Picker Service is currently looking for a Boom Truck Operator to join our team in Slave Lake, Alberta. The position is full time 2 week on and 1 week off rotation.

Duties include the following;

Conduct proper pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Conduct daily/weekly/monthly crane inspection prior to all work
Operate/Maintain National 30/45 Ton Picker and/or Knuckle Booms
Communicate with dispatch for daily jobs
Ability to pin/unpin from trailers, and load various equipment/structures/piping as needed
Inspect all rigging as required to ensure proper working condition, any thing out of service to be reported to our crane and rigging supervisor
Loading, unloading lifting and lowering of equipment as per boom truck operator training
Must comply with all client and legislative rules as required by the job

Qualifications

Boom/Crane truck apprenticeship/journeyman
Valid Class 1 License and acceptable Driver’s Abstract
Commitment to safe work practices
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour
