Key Responsibilities

As Sales Manager, you will play a critical leadership role in driving dealership performance, developing team members, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed performance objectives
Foster a positive, energetic, and accountable team culture
Monitor and manage lead response and follow-up processes across all sales channels
Train and develop sales consultants to improve product knowledge, sales effectiveness, and customer satisfaction
Lead by example in prospecting, customer relationship management, and sales best practices
Collaborate closely with the F&I team to maximize customer satisfaction and dealership performance
Analyze sales performance, identify opportunities, and implement effective solutions
Ensure compliance with Volkswagen brand standards and GAIN Group of Companies policies and procedures
Support the execution of marketing initiatives, customer engagement activities, and dealership events
Participate in ongoing training and leadership development opportunities
Contribute to the continued growth and success of Volkswagen Victoria and the GAIN Group of Companies

Qualifications

Proven automotive sales leadership experience
A strong track record of achieving sales targets while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction
Outstanding leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
Experience with import or luxury automotive brands is considered an asset
Current VSA license or the ability to obtain one
A valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
Successful completion of a criminal record check and driver's abstract upon hire
