Full job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Dental Office Administrator From Tuesday to Friday from 8.45 am to 4.45 pm to lead the daily operations of our busy dental practice. This vital role involves managing front-office functions, coordinating patient care, overseeing administrative tasks, and ensuring a smooth, efficient workflow. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences. Your leadership will help foster a welcoming environment while maintaining the highest standards of practice management.

Duties

Oversee appointment scheduling, patient check-in/check-out processes, and ensure timely patient flow
Manage billing, coding, insurance claims processing, and account receivables to optimize revenue cycle management
Maintain accurate electronic medical records using Tracker software
Coordinate with dental professionals regarding patient treatment plans and clinical documentations
Ensure compliance with health regulations, privacy laws, and medical terminology standardsQualifications
Proven experience working in a dental office environment with familiarity in dental practice management software such as tracker
Strong background in medical or dental office administration, including electronic medical records management
Knowledge of human resources practices and supervising team members effectively
Experience with billing, insurance processing, and budgeting within a healthcare setting
Familiarity with medical terminology, hospital or nursing environments, and acute care procedures is highly desirable
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
Prior experience in supervising staff or managing office operations is preferred
