Full job description

Fine Education is a tutoring academy in the Burnaby area primarily supporting international students from Korea. We are looking for a motivated individual to join us in a hybrid capacity — combining classroom instruction with day-to-day academy administration. If you enjoy both working with students and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, this role is a great fit.

Administrative responsibilities

Handle student enrollment and general student management
Manage and update social media
Monitor and follow up on students' school performance and daily academic life
Support daily academy operations as needed

Teaching responsibilities

Teach English Writing and/or ESL classes, or
Teach other secondary school subject: Math (Grade 9–12, AMC), Science, Social etc.
Provide individualized or small-group instruction as needed

What we're looking for

Strong ability to engage and motivate students
Excellent communication skills with both students and colleagues
Strong organizational and administrative skills
Ability to work efficiently and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
Proficiency in both English and Korean (mandatory)

Preferred qualifications

Graduated from a Canadian secondary or post-secondary institution (preferred)
Candidates educated in Korea with advanced English proficiency and prior teaching experience are also welcome to apply
Experience in tutoring, coaching, or academy settings is an asset
