Full job description

Overview
We are seeking an Experienced TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess advanced welding skills, particularly in TIG welding, and have a strong background in fabrication and assembly within industrial environments. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex projects that require precision and technical expertise, contributing to high-quality manufacturing processes.

Duties

Perform TIG welding on various metals according to detailed blueprints and schematics. Hold CWB certification.
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication
Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to assemble components with precision.
Measure parts with calipers and other measuring tools to ensure compliance with specifications.
Follow safety protocols related to welding, machining, rigging, and general manufacturing operations
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency

Requirements

Proven experience in TIG welding within a manufacturing or construction environment.
Proficiency in MIG welding is a plus; ability to adapt to various welding techniques
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for fabrication tasks
Experience with schematics interpretation and blueprint reading for complex projects
Ability to operate equipment such as calipers, hand tools, power tools, and welding machinery safely
Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions for extended periods
Relevant certifications in welding (such as CWB certification) are preferred but not mandatory

This position is integral to our manufacturing operations requiring precision craftsmanship and technical skill. We value safety-conscious individuals who are committed to quality workmanship.

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
