Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring property, preventing theft or damage, and maintaining a secure environment for staff and visitors. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observation skills, and the ability to respond promptly to security incidents. Prior experience in law enforcement or security is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in a professional setting.

Responsibilities

Patrol designated areas regularly to maintain safety and security.
Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe activity and identify potential threats.
Conduct security checks on entrances, exits, and sensitive areas.
Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, including medical incidents or safety hazards.
Enforce property rules and loss prevention policies to prevent theft or vandalism.
Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs of daily activities.
Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
Assist visitors and staff by providing directions or information as needed.

Skills

Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and CCTV operation.
Experience or background in law enforcement, security procedures, or loss prevention is preferred.
Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail.
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
Good communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and effectively.
Physical fitness to patrol large areas on foot if required.
Ability to respond swiftly and appropriately to emergencies or security breaches. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your vigilance helps protect people and property while developing valuable security skills.

Pay: $17.75-$19.00 per hour
