Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a motivated, hardworking Apprentice Cabinetmaker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for woodworking and craftsmanship, with the ability to take directions and learn . This role involves working with various materials and tools to fabricate custom millwork.

Duties

Work under the direct supervision of the shop foreman and journeyman cabinetmakers.
Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to cut, shape, and assemble materials.
Material handling and some site work as required
Wood finishing experience would be considered an asset.
Handle heavy lifting of materials and finished products as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

Proven experience in cabinet making or a related field is preferred.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to woodworking.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise specifications.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods during work hours.
A commitment to quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.
