About KIN Integrated Child Health
KIN Integrated Child Health is a purpose-built multidisciplinary clinic providing comprehensive assessment and intervention services for children, adolescents, and families.
Our team of psychologists, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, Nurse Practitioners and behaviour consultants works collaboratively to understand the whole child—not simply symptoms.

An Opportunity to Build a Specialized Assessment Practice
We are seeking a Registered Psychologist or Provisional Psychologist who has a strong interest in psychological assessment and diagnostic clarification.
This position is designed primarily for clinicians who enjoy the investigative and diagnostic aspects of psychology, including:
- Comprehensive clinical interviewing
- Standardized cognitive and psychological testing
- Diagnostic formulation
- Report writing
- Feedback sessions with families
- Consultation with schools, physicians, and allied professionals
While counselling opportunities are available, the primary focus of this role is psychological assessment.
For clinicians interested in maintaining a therapy caseload, optional counselling opportunities are available.
Assessment Services
You will have opportunities to complete comprehensive assessments including:
Psychoeducational Assessments
Evaluate learning profiles, cognitive abilities, academic achievement, executive functioning, and educational recommendations.
ADHD Assessments
Comprehensive assessment of attention, executive functioning, behavioural concerns, and differential diagnosis.
Autism Assessments
Participate in multidisciplinary autism evaluations alongside Speech-Language Pathologists and Occupational Therapists.
Mental Health & Diagnostic Clarification
Assessment of:
- Anxiety Disorders
- Mood Disorders
- Behavioural Disorders
- Emotional regulation difficulties
- Trauma-related concerns
- Differential diagnosis
Giftedness Assessments
Assessment of cognitive strengths, twice-exceptionality, and educational planning.
Optional Counselling Opportunities
For psychologists interested in providing therapy, opportunities are available to build a counselling caseload working with:
- Children
- Adolescents
- Parents/Adults
- Families

Qualifications
Applicants must:
- Be a Registered or Provisional Psychologist in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists
- Have experience working with children and adolescents
- Demonstrate strong clinical interviewing and communication skills
- Have an interest in psychological assessment and diagnostic clarification
- Be committed to evidence-based practice and collaborative care
Experience conducting psychoeducational, ADHD, autism, or diagnostic assessments is considered a strong asset, but mentorship is available for clinicians seeking to expand their assessment skills.
