As a dog walker, you will drive to pick up the dogs, walk them for 1 hour and then drop them off home. At the end of the drop-offs, you will send the client 2-3 photos of their dog and a brief service report. You must have a reliable car and be able to drive. Walks are usually done by noon, so the work hours will be from around 9am to 12pm.
This job is perfect if you are looking for extra income or are a student. This position is currently part time but it can be made into a full time position. Walks are Monday-Friday morning to noon and weekends are optional. You will walk between 3-6 dogs at the same time. The trails at Buena Vista off leash dog park is the preferable location for the walks. Depending on your location, we can give you the clients closest to you. You have to be able to handle 5 to 6 bigs dogs on leash.
The schedule is very flexible and changes can easily be made. You will receive paid training of course. Note that a criminal record check is required as you will have access to client's homes, keys and door codes.
