Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Renovator to join our construction and renovation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of building renovation, including carpentry, drywalling, electrical work, plumbing, and finishing. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects in residential renovations, utilizing a wide range of construction skills and tools. The Renovator will be responsible for executing renovation tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards and safety protocols.

Duties

Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized machinery safely and effectively
Perform carpentry tasks such as cabinet installation, framing, and trim work
Execute drywalling, mudding, finishing, and masonry work to meet project specifications
Install flooring and other surface materials with precision
Conduct electrical wiring, plumbing installations, and repairs in accordance with code requirements
Apply caulking, painting, restoration techniques, and surface preparation for aesthetic and functional improvements
Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while adhering to safety standards
Maintain a clean and organized worksite throughout each phase of the renovation process

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction or renovation roles with a strong understanding of building processes
Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools.
Knowledge of various trades including carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, flooring installation, drywalling.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting heavy materials and working at heights or in confined spaces
Commitment to safety protocols and quality workmanship
