About Evergreen Catholic Separate School Division

Casual School Custodians

(Spruce Grove/Stony Plain and Devon Schools)

Evergreen Catholic Separate School Division is currently seeking Casual School Custodians for our schools in Spruce Grove, Stony Plain and Devon, AB. As a Casual School Custodian for in the Spruce Grove/Stony Plain/Devon area, you will be expected to work in at least one of the following schools:

Rate of pay starting at $20/hour (hourly rate plus 4% vacation pay) as per Custodial Staff Terms and Conditions of Employment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
Ensure restrooms are clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
Handle minor maintenance tasks like snow shoveling, moving equipment, and reporting work orders to administrators.
Dispose of trash and recycling materials appropriately.
Conduct deep cleaning tasks, including carpet cleaning and window washing.
Perform floor care duties such as stripping, waxing, and buffing floors.
May include other tasks assigned by supervisor that are consistent with training and experience.

Preference Given to Candidates with the Following Qualifications

Experience working as a custodian in a school environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Access to reliable transportation
Self-directed and motivated
