Stonewall Estates

Stonewall Estates is a family-owned winery that focuses on great customer experiences and integrating rustic elements with elegant details. In addition to a la carte service for our winery lounge we also host weddings, corporate, and other events throughout the year. We pride ourselves on creating high quality culinary experiences and events.

Pasty Chef

We’re currently hiring for our kitchen team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food of high quality for events or our a la carte service.

Main Responsibilities

Create, prepare, and plate high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods
Develop seasonal menus and contribute creative ideas for new recipes
Prepare and cook food for a la carte service and events
Ensure all prepared food is created and served with high quality
Provide recommendations for kitchen operations and guest experiences
Maintain a safe and clean environment within the kitchen and grounds

Requirements

1+ year of culinary experience minimum
Upscale / Fine Dining experience is preferred
Experience in both banquet style events and a la carte service preferred
Knowledge of food and wine pairings is preferred (bonus for Niagara Wine knowledge)

Other

High time (May- November)
Low time (November – April)

Location
