27 Contracting is a rapidly expanding construction company with a focus on residential and commercial projects throughout the Niagara and Halton Hills regions. About the Role

As a Construction Laborer, you'll play a crucial role on our site team. You'll work on a wide variety of projects, from residential renovations and new builds to commercial jobs and shoreline work. Your primary goal will be to assist the project and management teams in ensuring a successful project delivery. This includes collaborating with our carpenters and subcontractors while helping us maintain a safe, clean, and productive job site.

What You'll Be Doing

Assisting our carpenters with a wide range of tasks, including demolition, framing, concrete work, drywall, painting, and more.
Handling materials and keeping the job site organized and clean.
Supporting the project team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
Adhering to our health and safety policies to create a safe work environment for everyone.
Taking on new duties as your skills and experience develop.

What We're Looking For

Experience: No prior experience is required for the right candidate, but we prefer those with 3+ years of experience in the construction field.
Certifications: You must have WHMIS and Working at Heights/Basics of Fall Protection certifications. Additional certifications (EWP, skid steer, etc.) are a definite plus.
Skills: We value strong communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and a commitment to safety.
Transportation: You must have a reliable form of transportation to get to various job sites.
