Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting various construction, maintenance, and installation projects by performing physically demanding tasks. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where safety, teamwork, and efficiency are valued. The Labourer will play a vital part in ensuring project completion on time and to high standards, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Responsibilities

Assist in the construction of patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other hardscape features.
Perform site preparation, excavation, grading, and material handling.
Install sod, trees, shrubs, and other landscape elements.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and small construction equipment safely and efficiently.
Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment.
Read and follow project plans, layouts, and supervisor instructions.
Maintain a clean and safe worksite.
Follow company safety policies and procedures.
Work collaboratively with crew members to complete projects on schedule.

Qualifications

2-5 years of previous experience in landscape construction, general construction, or a related skilled labour position.
Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions.
Experience operating skid steers, mini excavators, compactors, or other equipment is an asset.
Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and safe work practices.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
