Be the calm after the storm! As a Cleaner/Packer at On Side Restoration, you’ll play a vital role in helping families and businesses recover after disaster strikes. From carefully packing and cleaning belongings and spaces to supporting other restoration crews, you’ll bring care, precision, and positivity to every job. Compensation
- Salary Range: $20-$22/hour

What You’ll Do
- Pack, catalog, and clean contents from disaster-affected areas
- Perform pre/post-construction and structural cleaning
- Clean fabrics, textiles, and various surfaces
- Use Encircle Restoration Software for inventory
- Cross training in demolition and water emergencies
What You Bring
- Previous experience with detailed cleaning
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Physically fit, capable of heavy lifting and safety-conscious
- Tech-savvy (comfortable using apps/software)
- Valid driver’s license and clean abstract
- Clear criminal record
- English proficiency, written and spoken

- Restoration work can be dirty. Flooded basements and sewer backups are the norm. Are you able and willing to work in these conditions?
- Are you fluent reading / writing/ speaking English? If no, please rank your skills out of 10 (1 is basic, 10 is fluent)
- Are you comfortable driving a large cube van/fleet vehicle around the city and parking in residential streets? If you are not experienced, are you willing to learn? Please explain:
- This job requires physical fitness, including lifting 50 lbs, climbing stairs, and performing repetitive heavy lifting such as moving furniture and boxes. Please explain your physical capability to meet these requirements.

Restoration work requires documentation and tracking throughout your workday. Do you have basic computer and/or tablet/iPad experience? Are you comfortable operating a phone to navigate through applications and record info as instructed?
- Are you a good communicator? This job requires in-depth discussions with homeowners and co-workers. Being patient, clear and calm is a must: especially when a homeowner is in distress. Please describe your capability and attitude when dealing with all people:
- This role sometimes requires working later than scheduled, as jobs may need an extra hour or two to finish properly. Please explain your ability to stay late when needed, knowing all overtime is paid.
- This role requires strong dependability. Please describe your reliability in arriving on time and prepared, working effectively as part of a team, maintaining a strong work ethic, paying attention to detail, and completing work correctly the first time for both the team and the client.
Experience:
- Residential Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
- Construction: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Canadian Driving Licence (required)
