The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Sales Executive to join our Personal Lines team in St. John’s, NL, working in a hybrid environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with new and existing clients, understanding their insurance needs, and delivering tailored personal lines insurance solutions. You will thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment where every client interaction is an opportunity to build relationships, provide expert advice, and grow business.

This role is ideal for someone who is motivated by sales success, enjoys working with people, and is comfortable navigating multiple systems and digital tools in a dynamic brokerage environment.

What You’ll Do

Sales & Client Engagement

Respond to and qualify incoming leads from phone, digital, and referral sources
Identify client needs and provide tailored personal lines insurance solutions
Deliver clear, confident advice to help clients make informed coverage decisions
Build strong relationships to support long-term client retention and satisfaction

Business Development & Growth

Actively pursue opportunities to grow personal lines portfolios
Support cross-selling opportunities in collaboration with internal teams
Achieve individual sales targets while contributing to overall team performance
Maintain a strong focus on conversion, retention, and quality of service

Collaboration & Brand Representation

Work closely with service and commercial teams to ensure seamless client experience
Act as an ambassador for Munn Insurance, promoting our values and brand in every interaction
Contribute positively to a high-energy, team-oriented culture
Support additional duties as required in a growing and evolving business

About You – Our Ideal Candidate

You are a driven, adaptable, and client-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment. You are comfortable switching between tasks, managing competing priorities, and working with multiple digital systems. You bring confidence, curiosity, and a strong desire to succeed in a performance-based role.

Qualifications & Experience: Level 1 General Insurance License (NL/NS or both) preferred

Insurance industry experience preferred; strong sales experience will also be considered
CAIB and/or CIP designation considered an asset
Experience in a sales, customer service, or client-facing role

Experience with Applied Epic considered an asset
