Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Licensed Plumber or a motivated 2-year Apprentice to join our construction and maintenance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse plumbing projects, develop technical skills, and contribute to building and maintaining essential infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, familiarity with construction practices, and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. This position is paid and suitable for individuals eager to advance their careers in plumbing and related trades.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and repairs
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively
Perform routine maintenance on plumbing fixtures, pipes, and related systems
Assist with carpentry tasks as needed for structural support or modifications
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards
Troubleshoot issues within plumbing systems using basic math and technical schematics
Maintain a clean work environment and ensure all work complies with local codes and regulations

Experience

Valid license as a Plumber or at least 2 years of apprenticeship experience in plumbing or related trades
Mechanical knowledge including familiarity with HVAC systems, welding, assembly, and maintenance practices
Experience working with hand tools, power tools, schematics, blueprints reading, and basic math calculations
Knowledge of construction processes and safety protocols in a worksite environment
Prior experience in carpentry or general construction is a plus but not required
Ability to interpret technical drawings such as schematics for proper installation and troubleshooting
